NAIOP San Francisco Bay Area celebrated another incredible year of generosity at our 6th Annual FriendsGIVING Celebration & Make-A-Wish Fundraiser. Thanks to the enthusiasm and kindness of our members, sponsors, and community partners, we raised more than $35,000 this year—bringing our lifetime total to over $150,000 donated to Make-A-Wish through this program.
This year’s event once again highlighted the power of our commercial real estate community to make a difference. Hosted at Pier 23, this year’s celebration featured a festive atmosphere, an exciting silent auction, and heartfelt remarks from Kim Mendoza-Dungo, a Make-A-Wish volunteer and wish mom. Kim shared the story of her son Isaiah, whose dream of having a backyard basketball court was granted in 2022—an inspiring reminder of the impact our generosity can have on families.
Making a Difference, One Wish at a TimeThanks to this year’s contributions, we are able to fund three wishes—and we’re aiming for four as final donations continue to be processed. Whether through bidding, cash gifts, or spreading the word, every attendee played a part in helping brighten the lives of children who need it most.
