2025 ARGUS Scholarship Winner - Juan Quevedo

NAIOP San Francisco Bay Area is proud to recognize the 2025 recipients of the ARGUS Certification Scholarship, a program that supports emerging professionals from underrepresented backgrounds in gaining vital skills in financial modeling and real estate analysis.
Juan Quevedo is an incoming junior transfer student at the University of San Diego, majoring in Commercial Real Estate. His passion for the industry began early, inspired by working alongside his father—a dedicated trade worker whose perseverance motivated him to pursue a career on the investment side of real estate.
His journey into commercial real estate has included internships with Presidio Bay Ventures and Project Destined, where he gained hands-on experience in development and finance. He has also participated in intensive programs with organizations such as the All Stars Project and SEO, both of which emphasize leadership, professional growth, and the role of real estate in community transformation. These experiences have shaped his deep belief in access, equity, and long-term impact in the built environment, fueling his commitment to increasing representation in the industry for individuals from underserved backgrounds.
Beyond his professional interests, he is passionate about community service, regularly volunteering in youth outreach programs and organizing food drives to support the unhoused. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, exploring technology trends, and testing his global knowledge with GeoGuessr.
He is grateful for the opportunity to learn ARGUS and to actively engage with the NAIOP SFBA community.
