NAIOP SFBA has re-opened applications for the NAIOP Executive Development (NED) Program for 2022. The program will now commence in May 2022 in hopes to have lighter COVID restrictions and enhance the in-person elements of the course. The change in schedule has opened up several spots in this year’s cohort, so please apply by March 15th if you are interested in this opportunity. Pleasanton, CA: Millie and Severson is pleased to announce that Marvin Wheat has joined our Northern California Team as Vice President. In this role, Marvin will oversee Construction Operations for our Northern California region, continue to grow our business, develop and mentor talent, and position us for a stronger future.

Amanda Bates is Vice President and Portfolio Director for EQ Office. She runs the Northern California Region for the company and is responsible for market strategy through new investments, leasing, operations and value creation efforts in the throughout the region.

After many years of active involvement in the various facets of our amazing Chapter, I am honored to become your President for 2022. On behalf of the Board and the entire leadership team I want to share our vision statement which will flow through our annual agenda as well as our committees and our events.

SAN FRANCISCO – November 17, 2021 – The Swig Company has announced the following personnel changes: 

Jonathan Colton is a commercial real estate finance professional who is passionate about executing for his clients. As Executive Director and Product Specialist at JP Morgan he does loan origination and structuring and covers investors and developers headquartered in San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland. He finances deals anywhere his clients are active domestically which means that Colton executes in a myriad of markets across the country.

We are thrilled to announce the winners of this year's ARGUS Certification Diversity Scholarship.

Nicolas Zepeda is an emerging asset management professional who is passionate about leadership. He recently graduated from San Francisco State University, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance and landed his first career position as Property Associate at JLL.

Patrick Fisher is a commercial real estate operator and developer who enjoys creating value for investors and improving communities. In 2015, fueled by these two passions, Fisher founded Lift Partners (Lift), a full-service real estate investment company focused on the adaptive re-use and value-add repositioning of industrial and office product.

On September 24-26^th, the Young Professionals Group (YPG) kicked-off the 8^th class with a weekend long Retreat at the Doubletree Berkeley Marina.

NAIOP SFBA held its 15^th Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, October 11^th at the Claremont Country Club. The event, which was the first large-scale in person event the chapter has held since the pre-pandemic times, was a sell-out with over 100 people in attendance.

Congratulations to Alexandra Stoelzle, one of four professionals selected to receive NAIOP’s prestigious National 2021 Developing Leaders Award. The annual award honors exceptional members under the age of 35 for their remarkable professional accomplishments, strong leadership and significant community involvement.
