NAIOP San Francisco ARGUS Scholarship Winner Profile - Gavin Sood
Gavin Sood graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. in Political Science-International Relations, and a minor in Communications. Gavin is also on the verge of obtaining his A.A. in Real Estate from Merritt College in Oakland and was a graduate of the CREATE Fellows program. Although Gavin would like to potentially pursue graduate education in the field and transition into a career in Real Estate Development, he currently works as a Budget Analyst with the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). He has previously worked in a similar capacity with the California Public Utilities Commission and California Department of Transportation. Gavin possesses a California Real Estate Salesperson’s License and has worked as a leasing agent with a local San Francisco firm. Privileged by this scholarship opportunity, Gavin is excited to network with other NAIOP SFBA Chapter members and learn ARGUS, enhancing his understanding of property valuations, investments, and budgeting.
