NAIOP San Francisco ARGUS Scholarship Winner Profile - Joan Hu
We are thrilled to announce the winners of the ARGUS Scholarship and will be introducing them over the next few issues of the newsletter.
Joan Hu is a graduate from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics and holds a California Real Estate License. Prior to segueing into real estate finance, Joan worked for Maximus Real Estate Partners, where she handled multifamily property management and leasing services. She recently joined Blue Rise Ventures—a commercial real estate operator specializing in life science and industrial assets—as an analyst in March 2021. Her responsibilities include managing the financial performance of the firm’s portfolio and providing support for various asset management functions in regards to leasing, marketing, reporting, and underwriting. She is excited to receive this opportunity to learn ARGUS as she takes on more underwriting and financial management responsibilities, in addition to connecting with other real estate professionals within the NAIOP SFBA Chapter.
