Moderator, Maya Setchkova
Managing Director, Cushman & Wakefield
Maya Setchkova is a Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield, San Francisco, in charge of a global account spanning all service lines. She has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, finance, brokerage, property and facility management, project management, and lease administration.
Maya is passionate about introducing innovative technologies to the traditionally conservative real estate sector. She has piloted/implemented a large number of new PropTech solutions in various property portfolios. Maya also serves as CFO/COO/CSO advisor to startups in the real estate and healthcare space. She is an established PropTech expert and has spoken at multiple PropTech forums and published articles on the subject.
A graduate of MIT Sloan, Maya is multilingual and has lived and worked in Sofia, London, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and New York before settling down in San Francisco, where she is enjoying the beautiful outdoors, spending time with family and exploring the vibrant tech scene.
Jon Hong
Partner, Fifth Wall
Jon Hong is a Partner at Fifth Wall, where he services as Deputy Portfolio Manager and leads growth and late-stage investing. Prior to joining Fifth Wall, Jon was an Investment Director at the SoftBank Vision Fund, investing in and serving on the Boards of companies ranging from gopuff to ShipBob, among others. Before joining SoftBank, Jon was at PointState Capital focused on public global technology, media, and telecom (TMT) investments and started his career at Goldman Sachs. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where he received his BA in International Relations from the College of Arts & Sciences and BS in Economics from the Wharton School.
Raj Singh
Managing Partner, JLL Spark
Raj is the managing partner of JLL Spark, the corporate venture capital group of JLL, focused on strategic PropTech investments. Previously, he was interim co-head/managing director of investments at JetBlue Technology Ventures, the corporate VC of JetBlue Airways.
Prior to that, Raj served as CEO and co-founder of London-based Sooqini, an on-demand economy task delegator for small businesses. Before that, Raj co-founded and led a Geneva-based consulting firm and worked with various governments to foster entrepreneurship. As a general partner and co-founder of Pervasive Technology Ventures—and also as a principal for the New York-based VC arm of Investcorp—he was responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing new investments in tech startups. At Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy&), Raj led strategy and technology projects in ecommerce; technology, media, and telecommunications; and financial services. He also held multiple positions at IBM at the start of his career.
Raj holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and a B.S. in computing science from Imperial College London. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Mike Sroka
CEO, Dealpath
Prior to Dealpath, Mike has spent over a decade growing venture-backed software companies including Fanhood (acq. by FOX), Zynga (NASDAQ: ZNGA) and OneSeason (acq. by Cantor Fitzgerald). He started his career at Hudson Advisors, managing agent for the Lone Star Funds, and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.S. in Economics with Finance Applications. Mike lives in the Bay Area with his wife and 2 kids. He's a member of California Trout, Urban Land Institute, NAIOP, ICSC and Forbes Real Estate Council.
Stephanie Kwong Ting
Head of Investments, The Swig Co.
Stephanie is an Executive Vice President at The Swig Company, where she leads acquisitions, capital markets and capital raising.
Prior to joining Swig in 2021, Stephanie was previously an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley's real estate investing group, where she spent more than a decade working in acquisitions. At Morgan Stanley, Stephanie acquired and managed core and opportunistic real estate investments worth approximately $2.5 billion across all asset classes.
Stephanie graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is a member of ULI and NAIOP. Stephanie is a Co-Chair of the ULI SF Programs Committee, and sits on the ULI SF Executive Committee, the ULI SF Commercial Local Product Council and a ULI National Product Council.
