NAIOP San Francisco Bay Area Chapter is accepting applications to join a committee for the coming year, November 2023 - October 2024. Applications are due by October 13, 2023. Any current member of the Chapter may apply to join a committee during this period by submitting the application form below. Applicants will be notified between October 16-20 about whether they have been selected to serve on a committee. Due to the limited number of seats available, not all applicants may be selected. Programs & Events
Plan and implements a wide variety of programs focused on providing educational, social and networking opportunities for our membership. Sub-committees include: Multi-Family, Real Estate Insider (REI), Industrial, Behind the Scenes, and major annual events such as Best of the Bay Awards and the Real Estate Challenge.

Advocacy
Help shape our chapter's government affairs activities through legislative contacts, educating our membership on the legislation that affects our industry, and liaising with NAIOP’s Bay Area, Sacramento and D.C. lobbyists.

Marketing & Communications
Work with other committees to ensure consistency of branding and message internal and external communications including the website, email marketing campaigns, social media, media relations, chapter marketing brochures, press releases, podcasts, and more.

Developing Leaders
Provide members 35 and younger the tools, networking and resources to gain a competitive edge in the commercial real estate industry. Develop programs that provide education, insights, mentorship and networking to future leaders.

Membership & Networking
Proactively identify and engage with new member prospects to grow the association, welcome new members and assist in coordinating events that deliver value and show appreciation to members.

Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, & Accountability
The I.D.E.A. committee ensures that the Chapter's Diversity Mission Statement is considered in all organization activities, actions, and decisions, and develop related educational programs or resources where needs are identified.

Engagement & Connectivity
Assist members with becoming more involved with the Chapter and helping them to receive the most out of their NAIOP membership at any stage of their career. This includes engaging board members and volunteers to feel the value of their contributions, helping members join the right committee, and supporting committee best practices.

Sponsorship
Oversee the development and implementation of our sponsorship program, recruit sponsors, and serve as our chapter liaison with our valued sponsors to ensure they capture and enjoy all of the benefits to which they are entitled.

Graduates of the NAIOP Young Professionals Group (YPG) program are invited to help lead, plan and execute the YPG program for future years, as well as to develop new programs to foster the growing alumni network.
