Millie and Severson Announces Marvin Wheat as New Vice President for Northern California
Pleasanton, CA: Millie and Severson is pleased to announce that Marvin Wheat has joined our Northern California Team as Vice President. In this role, Marvin will oversee Construction Operations for our Northern California region, continue to grow our business, develop and mentor talent, and position us for a stronger future. With more than 40 years of construction experience and the successful completion of more than $6 billion of projects across a wide variety of markets, Marvin brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to his new role. His entrepreneurial spirit and keen focus on client relationships will make him a key asset to the team. Prior to joining Millie and Severson, Marvin held leadership roles with Matt Construction, Swinerton Builders and Hughes Aircraft Company as well as positions as a developer, construction manager, consultant, owner’s representative and general contractor. He has been the executive-in-charge of building some of California’s most notable projects including the Academy of Motion Pictures Museum, the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Beverly Hills, the Peterson Automotive Museum, the Dole World Headquarters, the Google Spruce Goose office and the Four Seasons Westlake Village Hotel. Marvin is a graduate of Harvard University where he earned Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual and Environmental Studies and Economics. He serves on the Advisory Board at Cassette Systems, a modular housing manufacturer.
