Join your NAIOP SFBA colleagues for our 2nd annual Fleet Week social at a new venue, The General's Residence at Fort Mason. Watch the Blue Angels soar over the San Francisco Bay, while you enjoying an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and catch-up with other CRE professionals!

This year’s event will also include lawn games like corn-hole, Jenga and Connect Four, donated by Kilroy Realty and Swift Real Estate Partners.

This year’s event will also help benefit Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area and will help us adopt Skye’s wish.

Skye is currently going through chemotherapy for Hodgkin's lymphoma. Treatment has not only been tough on her physically, but it’s been a rough road mentally as well. Skye dreams about being an aeronautical engineer and she is fascinated with radial engine aircraft, which started to go out of use after World War 2. When it came time to make her wish, she thought of a wish that nobody had ever wished for before, to go visit a small airline in the Canadian arctic that still flies these planes commercially. Recently Skye had her wish fulfilled and she not only got to fly in the Norseman plane she dreamed of, the owner of the airline also let her fly it for a bit. "It means a lot," said Skye. "It was so hard just sort of going through the repetitive cycle of doing nothing, being in the hospital, being home, doing nothing. It was fun to plan a wish and have something to look forward to. How to donate: Proceeds from the silent auction on October 10th will go towards Skye's wish. On the registration page there are ticket options with a $30 donation in addition to the ticket price that also go to Skye's wish. If you are unable to attend but would like to make a donation, please contact admin@naiopsfba.org.
