This month, we are featuring Rahul Joshi. Rahul holds a Master of Real Estate Development + Design from UC Berkeley, where he earned the 2025 Capretta Capstone Honors Award. His experience spans residential project management at Brookfield Properties, affordable housing finance with SHCLA, and public-private development work through his former firm, Studio 1+1.

Juan Quevedo is an incoming junior transfer student at the University of San Diego, majoring in Commercial Real Estate. His passion for the industry began early, inspired by working alongside his father—a dedicated trade worker whose perseverance motivated him to pursue a career on the investment side of real estate.

The cohort gathered for the first time during the weekend of August 15th for a three-day Kick-Off Retreat led by Dr. Julie Chesley and Dr. Kent Rhodes. Through interactive workshops, group discussions, and reflection exercises, the class began to build the foundation for a year of personal and professional growth.
